I am a scholar practitioner in the field of conflict analysis and resolution, with an interdisciplinary academic background and many years of practical experience. Much of my research and work focuses geographically on the MENA region, and topically on gender, refugees, interfaith relations, sustainable development, and other aspects of peacebuilding.

I research, write, and teach at the university level, and I design and facilitate interactive workshops and training on issues pertaining to conflict resolution and peacebuilding. I also design and lead experiential field-based learning endeavors, which primarily include immersion study tours to Morocco, Tunisia, Israel/Palestine, Jordan, and other destinations (in the MENA region and beyond).

In the following pages I share more about my experience, research/writing, and practice.
